Dr. Charles E. Lee is a medical officer for the Division of New Drugs and Labeling Compliance, Office of Compliance, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration; he has worked at the FDA for 9 years. Prior to joining the Office of Compliance, Dr. Lee worked as a medical reviewer and a medical team leader in the Division of Pulmonary and Allergy Products, Office of New Drugs, at the CDER.
Dr. Lee is a captain in the Commissioned Corps of the United States Public Health Service. He is a board-certified allergist and pediatrician with prior service in the United States Air Force and in private practice. He trained in allergy and immunology at David Grant U.S. Air Force Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and trained in pediatrics at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Lee graduated from medical school from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and graduated with a BS in microbiology from the University of Maryland, in College Park. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, as well as the American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology.
