Background
Cortney Davis has been a nurse practitioner since 1978. A published poet and frequent lecturer on women’s health, she has been awarded a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. She is the author of several books including I Knew a Woman: The Experience of the Female Body, Details of Flesh, and Leopold's Maneuvers.
