Program Description

This is a special report on the health impacts of the Haiti earthquake with focus on the medical response. Hosts Dr. Michael Greenberg and Dr. Matt Birnholz interview representatives of U.S.-based international relief organizations to better understand how relief efforts are being deployed in the aftermath of disaster, and how priorities are being set, given conditions of extreme poverty, destroyed infrastructure and the severity of the damage sustained by the population.
