Program Description
Nationwide, about 15 million adults and children are seen in emergency departments annually for acute neurological emergencies. Because of the delay in seeing a specialist, time is lost. All practicing Emergency Room physicians have had experiences where in some cases, the outcome has significant morbidity, or in the worse scenario, the outcome has been fatal.
