Dr. Brooks’ clinical areas of expertise include the management of benign and malignant breast disease, thyroid, parathyroid, melanoma and sarcoma. He is an accomplished clinical and translational researcher specializing in bringing new devices and techniques to surgery and oncology. Board certified in General Surgery, Dr. Brooks received a medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical internship and residency at New York University Medical Center, after which he completed a clinical fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He has been treating patients in South Jersey since 2003. In addition to his location in Woodbury Heights, Dr. Brooks also sees patients at Penn Medicine Washington Square and performs surgical procedures at Pennsylvania Hospital.
