    Dr. Bradley J. Monk is currently Professor and Director in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Creighton University School of Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Monk is also a Professor on the Clinical Scholar Track at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix. Dr. Monk’s research interests include chemotherapy to treat ovarian and cervical carcinoma, the etiology of and biomarkers in gynecologic cancers, and quality of life in women with advanced ovarian cancer. For the fourth year in a row, he has received the distinction of one of Arizona’s “Top Docs” by Phoenix Magazine. He is on the board of directors for the Gynecologic Oncology Group Partners’ Foundation and is the Cervical Chair for NRG Oncology. Additionally, Dr. Monk is an investigator for NRG Oncology and a member of the publications committee, protocol development committee, and immunotherapy subcommittee. Dr. Monk is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and an active member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, and other professional organizations. He is a current member of the editorial boards of several journals, including Gynecologic Oncology and Clinical Ovarian Cancer, and a reviewer for journals including Clinical Cancer Research, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Cancer, and the Journal of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Monk has authored more than 220 peer-reviewed articles along with 28 book chapters dealing predominantly with the prevention and chemotherapy of gynecologic malignancies and about patient quality of life. Dr. Monk earned an MD degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles. He was the recipient of three fellowships in medical genetics and gynecologic oncology.
