Dr. Hilleman is a Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Director of Continuing Education for the Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions in Omaha, NE. He is a practitioner in Cardiology and Critical Care at Creighton University’s teaching hospital. Dr. Hilleman earned his PharmD degree at Creighton University and completed a pre-doctoral research fellowship at the Poison Control Center at Children’s Hospital in Omaha. Dr. Hilleman chairs the University’s Research Conflict of Interest Committee. He has served on the board of directors of the Nebraska Pharmacists Association and is a member of the National Lipid Association, the American Society of Hypertension, the American Pharmacists Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. A widely published author, Dr. Hilleman’s work has appeared in five book chapters and over 200 peer-reviewed journals, including the Annals of Pharmacotherapy, Clinical Lipidology, Journal of Surgery, Cardiovascular Therapeutics, Cardiology Research, American Journal of Cardiovascular Drugs, and American Journal of Managed Care.
