Dean A. Bramlet, MD, FACC, FACP

    Dean A. Bramlet, MD, attended medical school as a James Scholar at the University of Illinois and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Bramlet completed a cardiology fellowship at Duke University. At Duke University, he participated in completion of their first Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty in 1981. Dr. Bramlet is an assistant consulting professor of medicine in cardiology at Duke University and has an additional faculty appointment at the University of Florida.

    Dr. Bramlet is a founding member and past-president of Florida Lipid Associates and is a recent past-president of the Southeast Lipid Association. Additionally, he was the founding president of Rocky Mountain Lipid Associates, Inc., and director of the Aspen Valley Lipid Center in Aspen, Colorado. Dr. Bramlet is nationally recognized as an educator and lecturer on lipid management and preventive cardiology, and is a board-certified cardiologist and board-certified lipidologist. He is a Fellow of the National Lipid Association, the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, and the American College of Physicians.
