Dr. Gust Bardy is the founding president of the Seattle Institute for Cardiac Research (SICR), an organization dedicated to providing state-of-the-art cardiac research services. Dr. Bardy has more than 25 years of experience as a researcher, with a focus on cardiac arrhythmias. He has led SICR in conducting a variety of cardiac research trials on a full- or partial-service basis, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health and Industry. Current trials include the Home Automated External Defibrillator Trial (HAT) and the Sudden Cardiac Death in Heart Failure Trial (SCD-HeFT).
