Joyce Ross is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Lipid Specialist. She completed her undergraduate and graduate work at Gwynedd Mercy College, in Pennsylvania. Joyce holds two Masters Degrees from Gwynedd-one as a Clinical Specialist, and the second as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She has received accreditation as a Clinical Lipid Specialist by the Accreditation Council for Clinical Lipidiology. She is a Fellow of the National Lipid Association and the current President of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association. Ms. Ross has a clinical affiliation with the University of Pennsylvania where she remains a sub-investigator in clinical trials and works with the LDL apheresis program. Joyce independently practices as a Consultative Education Specialist in Cardiovascular Risk Intervention. She is widely published in the field of cardiovascular risk reduction and has contributed to multiple continuing education programs. She is a guest lecturer at several Philadelphia Universities and speaks both nationally and internationally.
