Mark L. Sundermeyer, MD, earned his Bachelor’s degree in 1996 from the University of Missouri. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri’s School of Medicine in 2000. Dr. Sundermeyer then completed his residency and fellowship training at Temple University Hospital and Fox Chase Cancer Center, respectively. A specialist in Hematology and Medical Oncology, Dr. Sundermeyer is board certified in hematology, medical oncology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Sundermeyer has been an attending physician at Abington – Jefferson Health’s Asplundh Cancer Pavilion since 2006. A Conley scholar at the University of Missouri, Dr. Sundermeyer is an ongoing researcher, publisher and presenter in areas of his interest and specialty. He receieved the American Society of Clinical Oncology Merit Award for his abstract, “Pattern of Colorectal Metastases: A Ten-year Restrospective Review” in 2004. Dr. Sundermeyer is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
