Dr. Ramesh is an early career adult Pulmonary and Critical Care physician at UPMC Pinnacle. She completed medical school at TamilNadu Dr. MGR Medical University in India, residency in Internal Medicine at Rochester Regional Hospital/ Unity in Rochester NY and fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical care medicine at the Icahn school of Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in NYC. After fellowship she worked at Geisinger for two years and is currently working at UPMC Pinnacle. Dr. Ramesh is a steering committee member on the AirWays disease network at CHEST. She is a Fellow of the American College of Chest physicians. She is also an active member of the Social Media Work Group at CHEST. Dr. Ramesh is the President Elect of the Pennsylvania Chapter of Society of Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Ramesh's clinical and research interests include multidisciplinary approach to severe asthma management, point of care ultrasonography training and pulmonary embolism management. She has authored book chapters and authored several articles on those topics. She has been faculty at CHEST for annual meetings as well as for regional ultrasound courses. She has been faculty at the Resident Bootcamp at American Thoracic society meetings as well.
