Peggy Chen is a physician policy researcher at the RAND Corporation and a board-certified pediatrician. Her research focuses broadly on improving health for vulnerable populations. In particular, she is interested in physician experiences with health care innovations, including payment models, quality measurement (particularly measure harmonization) and health care delivery models. Her prior research has also focused on topics including experiences of immigrant physicians, physician career satisfaction, identifying characteristics of high performing health care organizations and engaging physicians in quality improvement and quality measurement initiatives. Dr. Chen received her M.D. from Columbia University.
