Pierce Scranton, MD
Dr. Pierce Scranton is a practicing orthopedic surgeon, past-president of the NFL Physicians Society, team physician for the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL for 17 years, and author of “Playing Hurt: Treating and Evaluating the Warriors of the NFL.” He is also past-president of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
Between a busy private practice and writing he performs charity work operating upon landmine victims and the disabled in Vietnam, and enjoys fly fishing, golf, and deep powder skiing. He is the author of over 100 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters and books.
