TLC Perinatal – Physician Owner Silver Spring, MD Attending Perinatologist Department of Ob/Gyn University of Maryland Medical System Prince George's County Hospital Cheverly, Maryland Dr. Richard Broth is a Perinatologist from the DC Metro area. Dr. Broth was awarded his medical doctorate in 1996 from the University of Maryland, and he completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. He also completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Thomas Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Broth opened TLC Perinatal, a private MFM practice in 2011 and is also an Attending Perinatologist on staff with University of Maryland and Prince George’s County Hospital with an interest in all areas of MFM as well medical practice management. Dr. Broth is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine, and he is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as a Fellow of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. In addition to the medical aspects of maternal-fetal medicine, Dr Broth has developed a strong interest in medical practice management and served on the board of the Association for Maternal Fetal Medicine Management (AMFMM) which is now a part of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine.
