Dr. Goodspeed is also currently the Chairman of the Massachusetts Hospital Association Advisory Committee to Develop a Curriculum for Hospital Trustees on Quality and Patient Safety and a member of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health & Human Services team on Health Care Quality Improvement. Dr. Goodspeed earned a bachelor of science degree from the College of Pharmacy of Union University in Albany, N.Y., a medical degree from Albany Medical College of Union University and a master's degree in Public Health from the University of Connecticut. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Medical Management and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
