Stanley Green, MD
Dr. Stanley Green was born in Oudtshoorn, South Africa.
He grew up in Port Maria, Jamaica; Pasadena, California; Goshen, Indiana.
Upon graduating from Goshen High School he moved to Quitanadueñas, Spain, where he worked for a year at Accorema, a heroin addiction rehabilitation center.
Continuing his education, Stanley received his BA in sociology from Eastern University, St. David’s, PA.
Stanley then worked for several years at the non-profit organization Philadelphia FIGHT (Clinical and Comprehensive AIDS Services).
Following his time with FIGHT Stanley attended and graduated with his MD from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. Thereafter he completed his Family Medicine residency as chief resident at Temple St. Luke’s University Health Network, Bethlehem, PA.
Dr. Green is currently working as a Locum Tenens Hospitalist. His long term goals entail returning to South Africa to build his own medical practice, wherein underserved populations will be provided essential and compassionate healthcare.
