William Goggins, MD

    Dr. William Goggins is associate professor of surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine, and director of kidney Transplantation at the University's Riley Hospital.

    Dr. Goggins obtained his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in general surgery and a research fellowship in transplantation surgery at the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Goggins was a clinical fellow in the transplantation unit at Massachusetts General Hospital and a clinical fellowship in surgery at Harvard Medical School.

    Dr. Goggins is a member of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and serves on the advisory board of the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

    Dr. Goggins is a frequent invited speaker and lecturer at regional, national, and international conferences. He has published original reports, reviews and book chapters, and abstracts on the subject of transplantation. His clinical interests include renal transplantation, desensitization and immunomodulation of the highly sensitized organ transplant recipient.
