Dr. Lin Chang is the Professor of Medicine in Residence at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Chang earned her medical degree and completed her internship, residency, and postdoctoral training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Dr. Chang holds leadership roles in several professional bodies: Co-Director of the CURE Digestive Diseases Research Center Human Studies Core; Director of the Women's Digestive Health Center at UCLA; Co-Director and Head of the Clinical Program of the Center for Neurovisceral Sciences & Women's Health; and Associate Director of the UCLA General Clinical Research Center.

Dr. Chang is currently serving on several professional committees: UCLA/CURE; Center for Neurovisceral Sciences & Women's Health; American College of Gastroenterology (ACG); American Gastroenterological Association (AGA); Functional Brain Gut Research Group (FBG); Rome Committee; National Institutes of Health (NIH); and the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders (IFFGD) Symposium Planning Committee.

Dr. Chang has published more than 65 articles and over 100 abstracts focused in gastroenterology in such peer reviews as the American Journal of Gastroenterology. She is active in both the private industry and in scholarly mentoring and training.
