Jerome D. Cohen, MD

    Jerome D. Cohen, MD is an Emeritus Professor of Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and is a Director of Preventative Cardiology Programs at the Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Cohen has been active in cardiovascular research for more than 2 decades. He has authored more than 160 scientific articles and book chapters on heart disease with a primary focus on hypertension, dyslipidemias and multiple risk factors including the metabolic syndrome and the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. 

    Dr. Cohen received his medical training at Johns Hopkins University and Washington University School of Medicine, and completed his internal medicine residency at New York University. He did his cardiology fellowship at Washington University. Dr. Cohen is board-certified in internal medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a fellow of the American Heart Association Council on High Blood Pressure and Epidemiology and Prevention.
