Dr Hollmann is the immediate past chair of the American Medical Association’s (AMA’s) CPT Editorial Panel, where he was a member for 12 years. Currently, he is chief medical officer for University Medicine, an assistant clinical professor in Family Medicine at Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School, and has a part-time geriatric primary care practice in Rhode Island. Previously, Dr Hollmann served as a medical director for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island for 19 years. Dr Hollmann represents the AMA as an alternate member of the AMA/Specialty Society Relative Value Scale Update Committee (RUC), and formerly represented CPT on the RUC for eight years. He is immediate past chair of the American Geriatrics Society (AGS) Public Policy Committee and is presently an AGS board member. He has been active in creating quality measures for geriatrics, serving on the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Geriatrics Measures Advisory Panel. Dr Hollmann is a delegate from Rhode Island to the AMA House of Delegates.
