Dr. Sam Bhayani is an internationally regarded expert in the minimally invasive and robotic treatment of prostate and kidney cancers. He currently serves as an assistant professor of surgery and the co-director of robotic surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. 

He has authored over 100 publications and has lectured around the world to thousands of surgeons. He has been invited to perform operations in Europe, South America and Asia, and has also performed robotic and laparoscopic operations on individuals from around the USA. His primary focus is the treatment of cancers in a minimally invasive fashion and the development of new and innovative surgical techniques. 

He earned his medical degree, finished his internship in general surgery and his residency in urologic surgery at Washington University. He also completed his fellowship in laparoscopic cancer surgery of the kidney and prostate and endourology at the James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
